NEWS LETTER IS OUT, SHOW SOME LOVE PEOPLE
[link] or [link] or [link]

Spring is here again, and what better way to appreciate her than to RACK YOUR BRAIN trying to put words to her many beauties.
But seriously folks, finding the words to express how you feel about something is, in my opinion, the clearest way to experience it.

Right about now, some of you may be thinking "Wut the hell you on about, Man?"

I'm talking about "The Spring Bash Haiku-thon!"

Inspired by =MSJames haikuwrimo last autumn, I've decided to run my own month long-haikuthon (as in haiku marathon).

How Does it Work? :iconohnoesplz:

Well, Dave, the secret is in the particles. They counter-act with...oh wait this ain't a edu-mercial.

:pointr: All you need to do is say "Hey dude, I want me on this action!" and I'll jot your name down with the rest of the participants.
That way, you'll know who else is doing this and be able to interact with the other participants. Since this may be your first try at the haiku form, it's a good learning experience to read and have your work read by the other participants.

:pointr: Once you've joined, when March starts, you submit one deviation with one haiku on it.
Sounds simple right? Here's where it gets exciting: everyday you update the deviation with 1 more haiku. By the end of the month, you'll get a deviation with 31 haiku on it.

:pointr: 31, like Baskin Robbins, you say!? That can't be done, not a chance in hell!
To that, I say, "Oh really?" and proceed to show you what you'll be the proud owner of in 31 one days.

Pumped and ready? :iconhappytimeplz:

By now you must be like :typerhappy: "ZOMGHUAHUAOMGHAIKUSLAMANDJAM!!!1!1!"

but where's the fun if you're the only ones joining, spread the word, use the stamp:

Not sure how to use a stamp? just Copy Paste : thumb78260588 : without the spaces.

Not a subscriber? Just spread the word nonetheless.

Art lives from constraints and dies from freedom. (Leonardo da Vinci)
:iconmangachu:
Mangachu, guided by the shining light that was Immortalecstasydream's journal, has wandered upon this amazing place, and using all his force of will, joins the fun.

:paranoid: In other words, may I join?

Now 20% more alive.

"OH GOD," screamed Astley, his hands over his ears, "I really am THAT terrible!"
:iconiscariot-priest:
hmm... I guess tankas are okay too. Good luck with it, I think they're quite the challenge :o
